Cdr. Girish Konkar (Retd) is a former Indian Naval Submarine Commander. He has over two decades of experience as a Leadership & Transformation Catalyst. His work has significantly impacted more than 5000 individuals within Fortune 500 companies.
His unique background called for a strong digital presence. In particular, he needed a YouTube platform that could carry his voice on leadership and life mastery. It needed to reach a much wider audience. Our partnership was formed to build and scale this presence. YouTube was placed at the centre of the strategy.
We built a dedicated YouTube growth strategy around Cdr. Konkar's core strength. We drew out leadership lessons from his lived experience. We extracted modern leadership and life mastery lessons from military history and high-performance mindsets. These insights were turned into a consistent, high-frequency content pipeline.
This included a cross-format publishing rhythm. We produced long-form videos, including deep-dive interviews and conversations with military veterans, coupled with many Shorts as well. Long-form content built authority. Shorts drove discovery. We also launched his podcast, "Commander's Compass," as a flagship content vertical.
To support this, we revamped his logo, branding, and website. We also introduced a fresh social media strategy. Every platform was aligned to reinforce the same brand and message.
Since December 2024, the channel has gained 6,212 new subscribers. It has accumulated roughly 3,594 watch hours in this period alone. That is more than 65% of the channel's entire lifetime watch time of ~5,368 hours.
This growth was backed by consistent output. The channel published 80+ long-form videos and 280+ Shorts, giving viewers a steady stream of new content to discover and engage with.
The impact went beyond YouTube. His website now delivers a fast, professional experience with an easy, intuitive interface. His branding is consistent across every digital and physical touchpoint. His social media presence has grown stronger too, reinforcing the same authority he has built on YouTube.
